John Lorenz

Accounts Assistant, IT

John is a passionate and driven IT student currently pursuing a Bachelor of Information Technology with a focus on Cybersecurity at RMIT University. He brings a solid foundation in IT systems administration, cloud services, and technical support, complemented by over four years of diverse experience across customer service, retail, bookkeeping, and volunteer roles.

At Progress Therapy, John plays a key role in managing cloud-based systems, supporting internal networks, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining essential IT infrastructure. His prior experience in bookkeeping and procurement has sharpened his attention to detail and efficiency in managing both digital systems and physical resources.

John is known for his problem-solving skills, adaptability under pressure, and proactive work ethic. A naturally jolly and upbeat person, he brings a positive energy to the team and creates a supportive environment for those around him. 

Outside of work, John is actively involved with the Missionary Families of Christ Victoria, where he occasionally helps lead events and sings in the choir. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, gaming, going to the gym, and spending time with family and friends.

John’s blend of technical ability, community involvement, and practical experience makes him a highly valued member of our team.
